We are now well into hour 19 of the readathon. I made some progress with The Round House but found myself lacking focus to truly appreciate the story. Good thing, I have plenty of books to choose from, specifically having added some quicker and lighter reads for just this situation.
So with the help of my trusty reading companion in this stretch of the readathon,
I finished one of the best books of poetry The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories as well as a Michael J. Fox’s humor-laden, witty autobiographical recount of his school lessons learned during real life and not school in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Future.
I am off to a little nap now, so I can finish the readathon strong in a little bit. How are you feeling? Are you pushing through or pausing for a nap?
