US releases: April books to keep on your radar

Hi bookies,

Here are a few of the books I reviewed and/or am looking forward to in April. I’ve linked the titles to my Goodreads reviews or to the actual book page.

Books I reviewed before release:

The Stupendously Spectacular Spelling Bee April 3rd Children, Middle Grade

Honestly, this book is fantastic if you want to expand you or you want a child to expand their vocabulary in a fun way.

The Orphan Band from Springdale April 10th Children, Middle Grade

One of the most complex middle-grade books I’ve ever read.

The Girl Who Never Read Noam Chomsky April 17th General Fiction

We follow the main character throughout her life. At times she is very relatable, at others she is so not!

Books I am anticipating to read:

The Circe April 10th

One of my favorite Goodreads reviewers loved this book. She and I generally love the same kinds of stories, so I am super curious to delve into this novel. Plus it’s historical fiction including Greek mythology. Swoon!

The Fates Divide April 10th YA, fantasy, 2nd book in the Carve The Mark series

I really need to get on this series. Veronica Roth’s Divergent trilogy was fabulous! Maybe I will binge book 1 and 2 in this series once book 2 has been released.
