Hi bookies,
Keep your eyes peeled for these goodies! As always, I’ve linked the titles to my Goodreads reviews or to the actual book page.
Books I reviewed before release:
The Pisces by Melissa Broder; May 1st Contemporary Lit, Romance, Fantasy
Mermaid love in a very adult way. That’s all I am saying.
The Key to Everything by Pat Schmatz; May 8th Middle Grade, Literary Fiction
Quirky characters and themes of growing-up and grief. This is a whirlwind kind of story where you just get thrown into the plot.
The Inventors at No. 8 by A.M. Morgen; May 8th Middle Grade, Historical Fiction, Steampunk
Strong female lead and science are two of the remarkable things in this book. The adventure is epic. This is fun to read and educational.
Books I am anticipating to read:
A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas; May 1st YA, Fantasy
I really need to get to reading this series: A Court of Thorns and Roses. Sarah J. Maas has a huge following on Goodreads and her books are highly rated. Although, I tend to not like/read the books that are squeezed in between the actual series. This one, for example, is book 3.1. What does that even mean?
War Storm by Victoria Aveyard; May 15th YA, Fantasy
The Red Queen series has been on my TBR for way too long. The covers of the books are so damn gorgeous, I can’t even. This is the final conclusion! So if you have read the others, I am sure you can’t wait to find out what happens next.
The Outsider by Stephen King; May 22nd Horror, Suspense, Thriller
Stephen King!!!! OMG, you guys, this cover is totally swoon-worthy! Reminds me of the cover of A Monster Calls. I pre-ordered this book and I cannot wait to get it in the mail.
Legendary by Stephanie Garber; May 29 YA, Fantasy
The second book in the Caravel series. Again, another series I’ve been meaning to read.
I can’t wait to get my hands on that new King book! Looks like you got some good reading planned ahead.
