Hi bookies,
Keep your eyes peeled for these goodies! As always, I’ve linked the titles to my Goodreads reviews or to the actual book page.
Books I reviewed before release:
I did not review any November books.
Books I am anticipating to read:
Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty; November 6 Contemporary Lit
This is my BOTM club pick. I am looking forward to reading another Moriarty book that promises suspense and relatable characters.
Daughters of the Lake by Wendy Webb; November 1 Mystery, Gothic, Thriller
The description of the story sounds so eerie and mysterious. I love the Gothic feels and I love a good historical arc. The main character promises to be lost and struggling with her current life while she encounters a century-old murder victim.
My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite; November 20 Mystery, Thriller, Africa
This just sounds like such an interesting read. How would you deal with this situation were it to happen in your family?
Fantastic Beasts: the Crimes of Grindelwald by JK Rowling; November 16 Fantasy, Screenplay
Anything pertaining to the HP universe makes it onto my TBR.
Vita Nostra by Marina Dyachenko; November 1 Fantasy, Scifi, Ukraine
Dark and weird. Why would I not want to read this?
Killing Commendatore by Haruki Murakami; November 13 Magical Realism, Japan
Anything by Murakami is surrealist goodness. I’ve been meaning to read 1Q84 for forever, so this one had to make it onto this list.
