It’s TTT time! As usual, if you’re curious about this, Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl hosts these weekly challenges (so, see her blog for more info). Today I’ll be talking about books I meant to read in 2018 but didn’t get to. And, pfffff, there are so many! I am not even going to look at my Goodreads TBR for this. I am just looking through my must-read 2019 list which I quickly compiled at the beginning of the year. As you can imagine many of those books were directly transferred from my must-read 2018 list. I get distracted by shiny, newly released books :p
HANNIBAL LECTER SERIES – at least one book
What are your 2019 must-reads?
This looks like a great bunch of books. I hope you get to some of them in 2019. My TTT Books I meant to read last year

I’m determined to read all of them this year!

Anne, I don’t see a link to your TTT. 🙂

Rebecca is on another list I recently looked at, and while it did not make my TTT this time, it is one I have been wanting to read for ages. Maybe 2019 is our year. Happy Reading!

I’ll bet Planet of the Apes is interesting, being the original book. And Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Would love to read that!

Yes that’s my thinking too. Maybe I’ll read Planet of the Apes during a 24 hour readathon.

I’ve actually read Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and it’s a super quick one so hopefully you’ll be able to fit it in this year. Other than that, I’ve been putting off most of the books on your list for as long as I can remember – I think Rebecca and Let The Right One In have both been gathering dust on my shelves for at least ten years, oops…

My current plan is to read Let The Right One In next month as part of a group read, so that should push me to get it done. I have The Stand scheduled for March, and since that will probably be a month-long read, I also scheduled Breakfast at Tiffany’s for that month to break things up a bit 🙂 …. Fingers crossed!

I’m always surprised that basically almost every movie is based on a book 🙂

I heard it’s very different from the movie and despite the movie’s questionable depiction of the Asian neighbor, I love the movie. So, I am slightly nervous about how I’ll feel after reading the book.

I’ve heard that too – I’m also a huge fan of the movie. I’ve found though, that if I watch a movie first and love it, I’ll usually love the book too – just in a very different way, no matter how different it is. I’m hoping that happens with this one too!

Keep me updated when you read the book 🙂

The stand was great. Made me put all my other books on hold to free up my time just for this one. Hope you like it.
I also have Let the right one in on my list for 2019. The film was very interesting.

I’ve been holding off on the movie because I want to read the book first.
