It’s TTT time! As usual, if you’re curious about this, Jana over at That Artsy Reader Girl hosts these weekly challenges (so, see her blog for more info). Today, I am going to list my ten most recent additions to my TBR. I usually write these posts far in advance and schedule their release but since I constantly add to my TBR, I am not able to do this for today. So, as of Jan 28 4pm, below, you will find my most up-to-date list (counting down to my latest TBR addition).
- Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo Fantasy, YA
- The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton Mystery, Fantasy
- Wolfgang by F.D. Cross Horror, Paranormal, Vampires
- The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater Fantasy, YA
- Sundiver by David Brin Sci-fi
- Dead in the Water by Penny Farmer True Crime
- Julián is a Mermaid by Jessica Love Children, Picture Books
- Hurricane Child by Kheryn Callender Middle Grade, Magical Realism
- The Nightmare Girl by Jonathan Janz Horror
- Cassandra at the Wedding by Dorothy Baker Classics, LGBTQA+
What are your latest need-to-read additions? Do you read, like I do, across many genres?
Looks great! I also have ” The 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle ” on my tbr list. Would you be interested in a buddy read?

Sundiver! I remember wanting to read that once upon a time! It looked intriguing. And the 7 1/2 Deaths is on my TBR now too after seeing some good reviews.

Sundiver was just recently recommended by a friend who is just as weird as I am, so I had to add it to my TBR 😉

I’m waiting on my Ruin and Rising copy from the library. I read the other two in that series this month and loved them.

I do and it ranges what I’m in the mood for at the time. I like to read many self help books, and I have to confess that a good cover attracts me, even though I know better then to judge a book by it’s cover. Currently reading my friends Kyle Rohrig’s book on Thru hiking the Pacific Crest Trail with his dog Katana.

I am such a sucker for a good cover!!! Nothing wrong with that 😉 … I enjoy listening to self help books and once in a while I read one. I will check out your friend’s book. It sounds really interesting.

He is a wonderful writer. Just one of us, telling it how it is. So relatable with so many lol moments. He has written three books by now and you can check some of the ratings on Amazon. Thank you very much. Let me know if do and what you think.

I’m hoping to read Ruin & Rising next month, I need to continue Siege & Storm first. 😀

I just finished the first two books this month. I found Siege and Storm to be a lot more emotional then Shadow and Bone.

I probably won’t get to this until spring or even summer. My must-reads for February and March already occupy too much time :p (or what I anticipate the time will be like).

Thanks for stopping by my TTT! I read and liked The Scorpio Races, and I didn’t mind the Darkling trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, but I did like Six of Crows better.

I’ve read the first two in that series and so far I too like the Six of Crow series better 🙂

I was just remarking that I needed to read something by Maggie Stiefvater, hopefully this year. And I hope to start the Grisha Verse books next month.
Even though I mostly read YA fantasy, I do read other genres too. History, the occasional contemporary, dystopian… some sci-fi at times too.
