I am excited to jump into my first story. Well, I’ve already jumped into it a long time ago but then hit some reading wall and sadly left the book unfinished for months. I’m talking about Jane Eyre and I am determined to make a good dent into it (maybe even finish it?). I have a few others that I’d like to get through as well, so I’ll be going back and forth between books. Some of those are ARCS, No Matter ( a poetry collection) and Ever Alice (an Alice in Wonderland retelling) for examlpe, some are graphic novels, like Watchmen, and some are new releases that aren’t so new anymore, suh as The Girl in the Red (a Little Red Riding Hood retelling).
What are you starting with this readathon?
I am a bit nervous about my snack situation … in that …. it doesn’t exist. I think I am going to have to order delivery of something to have any food in the house. I do feel really good about my reading nook though. I am planning on spending most of the night on the guest bed surrounded by all the throw pillows in the world and my puppies.
What will you be snacking on and where will you do your reading?
1)What fine part of the world are you reading from today? And what time is it where you are?
8pm on the lovely East Coast of the US of A.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Honestly, I’m just looking forward to reading. I have been in a huge slump and just want to get back into the swing of things. Thus, I’ll be completely mood reading.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I did not really prep for this and have very few snacks at the house. But I’m always excited for pizza delivery!
4) Do you have a #reversereadathon plan of attack?
None! And it’s total bliss!
5) Are you doing the readathon solo or with others?
Do my pets count? Because they are my best reading buddies!
Happy reverse readathoning, everyone!
